What a fun weekend! On Friday I met with two friends for dinner at Campania & Jones before heading over to dance to some electronic music at Oval Space. I didn’t know the DJs (it’s not my kind of music usually) but it was lots of fun. On Saturday Michael and I went to Clapham to have brunch. As we decided to walk through the park first it was a bit late for brunch afterwards, so we went straight for wine and snacks at WC – a super cosy little restaurant/wine bar in a former public toilet (hello quirky London!). Unfortunately they don’t serve hot beverages, so instead of a Cappuccino I had to do with an Espresso Martini haha. In the evening we (7 girls!) joined in for the craziness at Elysee, a Greek restaurant near Goodge Street where you get to smash plates and dance on them, and guys, listen up, there is also a belly dancer!
Such a fun day:) A huge order from ASOS arrived today from which at least 70% of the clothes had the perfect size and cut. Yeeey :) And the sun was shining today! Looking outside the window and seeing sunshine makes working much much better immediately! For dinner Michael and I went to So Restaurant near Piccadilly Circus. Hadn’t eaten Sushi for a while so I was happy to finally have some nigiri and sashimi again. And they also served Fatty Tuna which is so hard to find in London or generally outside of Tokyo I guess. So Restaurant’s sashimi platter is quite reasonably priced whilst the single nigiris are a bit more expensive than average. But it was yummy anyway :) After dinner we headed to China Town for a quick neck and shoulder massage. It’s not the fanciest of all places but I love the Chinese deep tissue massage and it’s literally a walk-in massage place: Give them 15 minutes and you feel like a newborn!

Yesterday I met a friend for brunch at the Ivy Market Grill, a modern British Brasserie, in Covent Garden. The restaurant has great food and a lovely wine selection. Make sure you book a table as it gets quite crowded during lunch time. I had sword fish and my friend had salmon. Both dishes were super yummy. Also the interior design of the place is very classy. Looks kind of a ‘posh’ pub mixed with a brasserie. And last but not least, the location couldn’t be better. The Ivy Market Grill is located just on the other side of the Covent Garden piazza. The restaurant also has outside seating, so this could be a perfect place to meet for brunch in summer ♡ Click here to book a table.
