Who said you need sunshine to see the beauty of the Seychelles? We stayed in Mahe, the main island of the Seychelles, for one week in October and had mixed weather. Most of the days we had sunshine and no clouds yet on a couple of days it was raining a few times during the day and the sky was rather grey. Thanks to the tropical climate, rainy and grey weather still meant that it was super hot and you could go swimming and sit outside – under a roof terrace, of course :)
It’s not too much fun to spend a rainy afternoon on the pool so we decided to venture out and drive along the coast in the north of the Mahe island. More precisely we explored the coast from Beau Vallon along to Victoria. The whole road trip only takes around one hour (without breaks) and makes a perfect little trip for those staying in Beau Vallon.
