Strolling Around Hong Kong’s Financial District

One our first day in Hong Kong we started the day by walking around the financial district and having lunch in one of the shopping centres. At lunch time on a week day it was super busy as everyone seemed to rush out of the office to grab some food. Seeing all the people dressed in suits coming out of the office buildings was a huge contrast to how we had spent the months before, lying on a beach and cruising around with a Vespa in Vietnam. Before we started our trip, that person dressed in business attire and popping out of the office to get food was me.. So apart from Hong Kong’s recent British history, this must have also been one of the reasons why Hong Kong reminded me so much on London. Below some photos of Hong Kong’s Financial District I took during our lunch time walk.
