Xmas Themed Weekend in London

Ginger Bread House Party Xmas

This weekend had such a jolly Xmas theme! I went to the gym on Friday night (the only non Xmas activity at the weekend!) and had an early night afterwards. On Saturday we headed to my friends’ place for the yearly ginger house party where we had mulled wine, listened to Christmas music and built & decorated ginger bread houses :) When we had the first Xmas party a few years ago there was only one baby present, this Saturday we had one baby and three adorable little kids.  All the sweets gave the kids such a sugar high that they started dancing around to Xmas songs, so cute! After the Xmas party, we headed to Franco Manca to get pizza and then watched an episode of Westworld before bed time. On Sunday we walked to the little Xmas market between London Bridge and Tower Bridge. They have so many lovely stalls! But rather than having mulled wine outside, we walked over to Borough market and sat down inside Bedales, a cosy little wine bar, way warmer than outside!

I used to love walking along South Bank when I lived in London. It looks lovely with the xmas markets.

I love Ginger Bread houses! My mom used to force us to do this too when I was a kid but I now remember it fondly. Amazing how smart my mom was as I got older! I am going to be in London at the End of april! Cant wait to see all these places. Love your pics

England is on our list for 2017. It’s a shame we wont be going for the Holidays. This looks wonderful and festive.

Walking along the South Bank is one of my favorite ways to spend a Sunday in London, but never did it for the holidays. Maybe I should try this time.
